"Psh, you're boring!" Amelia stuck her tongue out playfully at Gretel.

"No problem," she linked her arms through both of theirs, even though she didn't know Abigail that well, she already considered her a friend, "So what're you two girlies gunna get?" "Tea. The very reason I approached you in the first place. Remember?" "Oh right! Silly me," she giggled and smiled brightly at Abigail, "Well, unlike you both boring chicas, I'm gunna get myself a Pumpkin mocha, in spirit of the holiday! I dunno how good it's gunna taste, yanno, but might as well try it, huh?"

Gretel laughed and shrugged again. "Not really in the mood for much else." she explained.

"I think I'll go elsewhere. Bye," she slipped away from them both.

"No!" she defended herself, then saw Abigail try to leave. She knew the Brit wasn't going to get far.

"Huh-Wait, Abigail!" she unhooked from Gretel and went after her, only to trip over her own feet and face plant, "Ohh," she stood, not caring about her scraped and bleeding knee. But when she saw herindex finger, her nail chipped, her world came crashing down, and tears filled her bright blue eyes.

She looked back and sighed, "You're ridiculous."

Amelia looked at her, "Huh? ...But, I just got them done today, and they were so pretty," she pouted and continued to stare at her poor nail. A tear slipped down her face.

"Who cares? Because I certainly don't," Abi huffed. She turned and walked away again.

Gretel knelt down next to Amelia. "Aw! The poor nail! It was so pretty too..."

Amelia held back another tear as she stared at Abigail's back, "Why are you so mean?" she asked, clinging to Gretel, "I was just, like, totally nice to you. I was gunna buy you tea, yanno?" she stood and helped Gretel up and smiled at her before looking back at Abigail. She ran to her and handed her a few dollars, "I hope you find a good place then. And try to cheer up a little, 'kay?" she walked back to Gretel.

"I don't want your money!" Abi snapped and gave it back, "I'm not a charity case!" she walked off again.

Amelia blinked, and clutched onto it. She blinked back a few more tears as she walked to Gretel once more, "I wasn't trying to be mean..."
