France focused on the lock trying a couple different ways to see if it would work. He stood there for a couple minutes and just as he was about to give up the lock clicked. It worked?

America heard the lock click and stood to open the door. He blinked and smiled a little. He whispered, "Thanks Pops."

"Night," he gently shut the door and locked it once more, then put the chair under the doorknob again. He got bak in bed and wrapped his arms around England slowly and gently so he wouldn't wake up.
He tried to sleep, but couldn't.
