"Chéri, have some of this." France said, randomly appearing next to America, holding a glass of wine.

America jumped and looked up at France, "No there's gunna be some weird aphrodisiac shit in there," he said, still not able to get the spiciness out of his mouth.

France laughed a little, "Come on. I promise I haven't spiked it or anything."

America took it and looked back up at him, "Will it really get rid of the spicy taste or just make me drunk with a spicy taste still in my mouth?" he asked.

"It will take away the spicy taste." France promised, passing America the glass of red wine.

America took a sip and swallowed, twisting his face a little, looking at France, "I like beer more, this stuff is icky." ((Ugh I hate wine XD))

France took a seat next to America and sighed. America didn't know good alcohol when he saw it. He wouldn't know good alcohol if it ran around naked infront of him. France smirked at the thought.

America finished it though, since it did help with the taste, and gave it back to France, "Merci." he said, hoping it was the right language.

"Ah fantastique! Je suis si fier de vous~" France said happily, patting America's head affectionately.

America blinked, "What?" he asked, confused, wondering why France was patting his head.

France smiled at him, "You actually remembered." He said. He was happy that someone remembered some of his language.

"Well everybody knows 'merci' just like everyone knows 'gracias' and 'danke'," he said, nodding, "Not too hard to remember."

"But no one ever says it." France said, still happy.
