America opened the door and sighed, "Sorry about that, guys..."

"It's alright," England smiled, "Just expect to be on the front page of the newspaper tomorrow."

"I expect to be all over the news..." He put Eli in his room and tucked him in. To prove what he said he walked out and flipped on the TV. "-terrorist tried taking down flight 1-56 en route to London. The police say they believe they were heading to Washington DC, since the flight began heading toward the States instead of England." ((I couldn't think of a better way to word that if my life depended on it. I apologize)) America froze and he put his hand on his heart, "Oh my god." He should have tried to guess that, but at the time he wasn't thinking much about it. "By the time the plane had gotten control back they were flying over Georgia."

England watched the TV in shock but now that he thought about it, it made sense. He moved closer to America and realised that he had not just saved the lives of those on the plane, but the thousands of lives of those living in DC. He hugged him tight.

America hugged him back and put his face in England's shoulder. He felt like crying, "How did they get guns on the plane?" he whimpered.

England led him to the couch and sat down, "I don't know," he replied and continued to hug him tight, "I really don't know."

He let out a shaky breath, "I'm a hero..." he muttered.

"You are. You saved so many people today," England kissed his forhead.

America closed his eyes and nodded. He wondered what would have happened if no one did anything. If he wasn't there... It would have hit his capital... He flinched and tightened his grip on him and closed his eyes.

England stroked his hair and comforted him the best he could. The TV reporter was now talking about Patrick and America and how they stopped the terrorists.

America relaxed and pulled away, now smiling, "Whoo, it's been a long day, huh?" he looked at the TV and grinned when he saw Patrick. "I was trying to find someone to help me out and then Alfred passed a note on a napkin to me. So on three we just charged."

"Me, too." When the interview turned to him on the TV, he got embarrassed and went to turn it off.

England stopped him, "No, I want to see."

America looked uncomfortable and tired on the TV. Who really can be comfortable when you have a camera and a microphone shoved in your face? Unless you're trained to be comfortable, you're not. But his answers were honest, "I just wanted to protect my family." "Are they you're brothers?" He frowned, "No, that's my fiance and my son." "He would answer no furthur questions." the lady said.
