America hugged him back and burried his face in his shoulder. He took deep breaths so he wouldn't cry.

England rubbed his back gently. He didn't mind if America cried but he didn't say anything. He kept his grip around him tight.

England stroked his hair and continued to hug him. He let him cry; he figured he needed to let it all out, "I know," he repeated. It /had/ been a while...

"I miss being the hero," he said sadly, "I wish... I wish my bosses would stop fucking up and invading everyone all the time. Trying to change things in ways they shouldn't be. It's just so much pressure on me. If I don't do anything somewhere I get blamed, and if I try to something I get blamed for screwing it up. There's no way I can't disappoint people..." he began sobbing.

England played with his hair and said, "I know, love, it's harder than it used to be but your opportunity will come again, you'll see."
Eli came into the room and when he saw America sobbing, he looked at England, who shook his head a bit and Eli left the room again quietly. He'd ask questions later.

He's so nosy, he can't keep his business to himself... America why aren't you DOING ANYTHING, you're supposed to be the hero!... Well look what you've done now, that's what you get for getting into people's business'. It's not fair, England. I just want the world to be a good place," he said, cluthing onto him tighter.

America took a few deep reaths and put Texas back on. He set the card aside on the table and began going through the basket to see what was there.

England watched him and Eli came back into the room. He climbed onto the bed and settled himself on England.

America smiled at Eli and found that the basket was full of chocolates and other candies. And some baked treats and a little tag off it that says "from Belle" he could only assume that was the thirteen year old.
