Korea ran through the thicket as if it were just freshly cut grass. He had a few cuts on his cheeks but ignored it, running towards Japan who was enjoying the scenery. "Japan! What brings you here at Mount Fuji~?"

"S-South Kor-Korea, what are you doing up here?" Japan jumped a bit. The scene was peaceful and quiet- until this other Asian country came to the picture.

South Korea just had a huge grin on his face as he brought out a platter to Japan. "See, I made dango this morning!"

"O-Oh, that's very kind of you," Japan gave a small smile to South Korea.

South Korea just froze there with a smile and a wind blew past them. A few seconds later he asked hesitantly, "D-don't you...want to try some?"

"Thank you," Japan took one of the dango and ate it. "It's really good, South Korea," Japan said swallowing the delicious food.

Korea's grin grew as he waved, moving his wrist up and down fast. "I found the recipe in an old Korean recipe book. But it was originally called 'dduk'."

"Of course they are!" Korea boasted. He sat down on the soft ground next to Japan and silence unexpectedly filled the atmosphere.

Japan loved the silence, but with South Korea, it just felt weird if he wasn't talking. "Do you want a rice ball?" Japan gesterured to the food he had brought.

South Korea jumped, amazed by Japan's gesture, and said happily, anime tears falling from his eyes, "Of course Japan! I'm so honored to have a rice ball!" After a few chews, Korea asked, "Japan calls them 'onigiri', right?"

Japan nodded. ((I had forgotten the name for it. And yet I read Fruits Basket enough times, I should know what they call them.))

"I've been trying to learn Japanese...but I only learned a few words from the Korean-Japanese dramas I watched." Korea ranted.
