America came out of the bathroom in his PJs that he'd brought in and threw his laundry in the basket, "Night," he kissed England's forehead. He slid in next to him. He didn't touch him as he closed his eyes and tried to relax. If England didn't like him touching him then he won't.

England couldn't sleep when America wasn't holding him. He wasn't used to it. He waited for a minute then when he realised he wasn't going to, he tried to ask him if he would, "Al...? C-can you..." he hesitated when the words got stuck, "...N-never mind..." he rolled onto his side.

America's heart felt constricted as he sat up and turned the light back on, "I'll do anything you need England," he sounded almost desperate to please him.

England rolled over to face him and mumbled quietly, "I need hugs...."

America was a bit caught off guard. He expected England to say somehting about tea or his embroidery. He shut the light off again, "C'mere, baby," he slid closer to him and, slipped his arms around England's waist, he flipped on his back, then sat up so England was sitting in his lap facing him. He hugged him tight and rocked him side to side, "You have the best hugger in the entire world right here."

England's smile returned instantly and he leaned his head on America's shoulder. He hugged him back tightly and said, "I know I may be difficult sometimes and I know I don't say this as often as I should but... I love you so much."

America's eyes widened, and slowly he closed them again, "I love you more." he whispered in his ear with a smile.
