Germany walked along a sidewalk in Frankfurt, passing many of his own citizens and tourists, feeling quite at home. It was almost too peaceful. He had an ominous feeling that something odd was about to come and disrupt his day.

America was running down the street, and away from a pack of dogs. More specifically, Aster, Blackie, and Berlitz.

He was pondering this feeling, when he looked up to see none other than America racing towards him at full speed. He barely had time to think as he was nearly bowled over by the passing foreigner. And then -- wait, were those /his/ dogs? "Aster! Blackie! B-Berlitz! Bad dogs! What the Fuhrer is - agh, just get back here!" He proceeded to run after the quartet, wondering what America could have possibly done to upset his usually obedient and docile pets. This was going to be a long day.

America decided that his only safe way out of this situation was to climb a tree. He did so quite sloppily and waited in a tree branch, "GERMANY YOUR ANIMALS HATE ME QAQ" he called when he had arrived. The dogs barked up the tree as America continued to anime tear, "I don't even know what I did."

Germany finally caught up with them, panting slightly. "Good thing I bothered to bring these with me today..." He pulled his dogs' leashes out of his larger coat pocket, fastening them to each of their collars. He sighed wearily. "America! I believe I can control them, so you can come down now. And would you mind explaining exactly what you are doing in my country?"

America lit up, seeing the crazy canines were under control. He slid down the tree, and bounced when he hit the ground. The dogs seemed to gain control once they realized Germany was back and with wary glances at America, sat by their Master's side. America grinned, "I was here 'cause I got lost on the way to England's..." he scratched the back of his head guiltity since by now he should know how to properly get to his fiance and child.

Germany sighed again. "You're hopeless." He then realized that leaving America here would mean leaving him to wander around his home unsupervised. "...Do you need an escort to England's? We wouldn't want something like /this/," he glared at the dogs and America, "to happen again."

America stood there for a second, "Psssh, naw, I can find my way. I think. What town was this?" he scratched the back of his head and looked around, "Zurich?" he dropped his hand, then shrugged, "Eh, I'll find a way out, no biggie." ((Did you see my signature? ))

Germany stared in disbelief before facepalming. "Nein, America. You need an escort." He sighed again. "I needed to run a few errands anyway. Come on." Germany led the dogs towards the border of his nation, expecting America to follow.

((It logged you out.))
America followed after, "Well thank you!" he smiled, "To be honest I'd probably wonder into some other oddball country by the time someone found me again," he sighed a bit, then glanced at the dogs that were walking calmly at Germany's side and took a few steps away.

Germany continued walking, deliberating on whether to stop by the local pharmacy or bakery next. He really did need to get Italy something for his stomachache, or nothing would ever get done. Then again, the bakery set out all the new cakes on Saturday, and everyone knew they tasted the best right out of the oven... He sighed. Productivity came before frivolity. "I'll need to make a couple of stops before we get to the border, is that okay with you?" he asked tiredly.

"Yes!... Where are we anyway?" he asked once more. He blinked at the German words on signs and whatnot and wished he would read them. He prodded Germany's shoulder hard with his finger and pointed at a sign, "Gerrrmaaannnyyyy, what does that say?"

"It says 'Arzneimittelkunde' -- a pharmacy. It's our first stop." Germany tied the three canines to a lamp post and walked in the door, greeting the pharmacologist. "The usual, Erich. Something for stomachaches." "Ja, ja. Just a minute," the stout, blond man replied, walking into a back room. Germany stood stiffly and tapped his foot, quietly humming the German anthem.
